Druk Air is not able to accept the reservation today for additional / split flight for October/November as Druk Air is still busy inserting the flight information in the system. As such Druk Air has requested all tour operators to kindly cooperate for the same. The system will be ready to accept the reservation by Tuesday, 26th August 2008 for additional/split flight for October and November. This update comes from ABTO.
ABTO also announces that the list of waitlisted passengers as provided by the tour operators was submitted to Druk Air on Friday, 22 August during the ABTO – Druk Air meeting. The requirement of additional / split flight for the months of October and November was thoroughly discussed. The ABTO management has upraised the Druk Air management on the requirement of more additional and split flight for October and November besides the few additional / split flight already planned by Druk Air (list already provided to tour operators on Sunday, 24th August). As such the ABTO management has requested Druk Air to insert more additional / split flight wherever feasible based on the latest list of waitlisted passengers. Further the management has insisted Druk Air to insert additional/split flight even if not feasible date wise atleast in an alternate date so that the ABTO Secretariat will inform tour operators to make minor adjustment by either preponing or postponing on arrival or departure date so as to benefit both the parties. Druk Air has accepted the request and agreed to explore the possibility of inserting more flight and accordingly inform the ABTO Secretariat about the insertion.
