New Procedure for Processing Route Permit and Visa

Route permit for tourists can be processed at the same time as processing tourists visa at the Department of Immigration (DoI) avoiding having to visit DoI twice(once for visa and second time for permit).

From now on, tour operators are required to produce the following at the visa counter of DoI while applying for visa: -

  • the visa application form,
  • the passport details of the tourist endorsed by the TCB,
  • and single page of itinerary (typed) duly endorsed by the TCB (The TCB already has a standard form for this).

The route permit will be sealed on the same itinerary which has been endorsed by TCB.
