National Tourism Board / Bhutan Tourism Council established based on Executive Order issued by Hon’ble Prime Minister on 30th January 2008, has now been renamed as “Tourism Council of Bhutan (TCB)”. The Council Members are: -

- Dasho Penden Wangchuk, Secretary, MoHCA (Vice Chairperson)
- Mr. Karma Tshiteem, Secretary, GNH Commission
- Mr. Karma Dukpa, Director, Department of Forestry, MoA
- Mr. Sangey Tenzing, Managing Director, Druk Air Corporation
- Mr. Yeshey Norbu, President, ABTO
- Mr. Karma Penjor, Director, Dratshang Lhentshog
- Mr. Dorji Norbu, Dzongdag, Trashigang Dzongkhag
- Representative, Ministry of Foreign Affairs
The Royal Civil Service Commission (RCSC) on 28th March 2008 has announced and appointed Mr. Kesang Wangdi, Director of the Department of Bilateral Affairs, Ministry of Foreign Affairs as the new Director General of the Tourism Council of Bhutan. His initial term of office shall be for three years w.e.f. 1st April 2008.
