Association of Bhutanese Tour Operators (ABTO) announces to all tour operators, the following up-coming travel fairs:

JATA World Travel Fair, which begins from 19th – 21st September 2008 in Tokyo, Japan. (http://jata-wtf.com)
World Travel Market (WTM), which begins from 10th – 13th November 2008 in London, United Kingdom. (http://www.wtmlondon.com)

Conditions for participation

Selection

Selection will be done on “First Come First Serve Basis” (Budget permitted, we will try and accommodate more than 5 participants).
Interested participants should apply through email to abto@druknet.bt indicating the interest in one of the above mentioned travel fairs. The date and time when the email is received will be the basis of selection.
Interested participants should apply by 14th April 2008.
Interested participants should have cleared ABTO membership fee for the year 2007.

Cost Sharing

Selected participants have to bear 40 % of the total booth charges (Through past experience it is about Nu. 30,000.00 per company, this is just an indicative figure).
Remaining 60% of the total booth charges and the decoration of the booth will be borne from TCB budget supplemented by TDF.
40% collection from selected participants will be used for hiring of furniture, participants’ exhibitor badges, refreshment during the fair and miscellaneous expenses

Logistics

Selected participants will have to arrange their own travel and accommodation.
ABTO Secretariat will facilitate in acquiring visa for the selected participants.
ABTO Secretariat will provide general brochures, magazines and pamphlets for distribution during the fair.
ABTO Secretariat will also provide advisory services, support and coordination with regard to specific travel fairs.
