Want To Go To Kuwait?

ABTO Announcement:

This is in continuation to our earlier email sent on Wednesday, 26 November 2008 with regard to the invitation for tour operators by the Royal Bhutanese Embassy for Kuwait. In this regard, the Embassy has postponed the promotional program until mid February 2009 with a view that there will be wider representation from tour operators for promoting Bhutan as a travel destination.

For your kind information, the Middle East is a new market for Bhutan and moreover the Embassy will invite around 150 people from the travel business and media from the region. Further, the Embassy can play a facilitating role, to give tour operators a platform to meet their counterparts, inviting people and promoting Bhutan as an attractive travel destination. In brief the outline of the program will be as follows:

  • Opening remarks by the Ambassador
  • Press conference
  • Film about tourism in Bhutan
  • Individual presentation by the tour operators
  • Open the floor for inquiries and questions
  • Raffle draw
  • Buffet dinner

Interested tour operators will have to bear their own traveling expenses. However the Embassy will extend local hospitality for a few days.

In view of the above, interested tour operators are kindly requested to confirm your participation to ABTO latest by 23 January in-order for us to inform Embassy for necessary arrangement and support.
